The Iowa City Farmers Market runs every Saturday from May 2 through Oct 31, 7:30 AM to noon, at the Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp on the 400 block of Washington Street in front of City Hall, with stalls also around Chauncey Park. The open air market offers fresh homegrown produce, baked goods, handicrafts, plants and flowers, plus live music and park activities each week. It is run by Iowa City Parks and Recreation and is in its 54th season in 2026. Cash, cards and EBT and SNAP are accepted, with Double Up Food Bucks tokens available at the welcome table. Pets are not allowed inside the ramp during market hours.
