Rafter 7 Ram and Ewe Sale

The University of Nevada, Reno's annual Rafter 7 Ram and Ewe Sale sells about 200 Rafter 7 Merino and Merino x Rambouillet rams (yearlings and two-year-olds) plus a select group of purebred Merino ewes, raised under high-desert range conditions at the University's Great Basin Research & Extension Center in Eureka County. The sale is held each September at the Eureka County Fairgrounds in Eureka, Nevada, just off U.S. Highway 50: rams available for inspection from 8:00 AM, luncheon at noon, sale begins at 1:00 PM PT.
